I have loved dance music since I was a child. I started listening to that good and rhythmic music that broke the dance floor at the very first tune. I also had the chance to listen to the first house music tracks coming to The Netherlands. Now I try to put it together all these genres that I have always enjoyed plus the fantastic tracks we listen today in House and Deep House, and Nu Disco all in separate DJ-Sets covering Deep House, House, and Nu Disco grooves. My main objective is to make you have a real good time and to bring you a great time too.

After stumbling onto a set of turntables in 2005 at a friends house one early Sunday morning after a heavy night of partying, Des aka DJ Deztruction became obsessed with DJing. Two years later, without any dj courses or professional training, just his passion for DJing and love of music, he managed to teach himself the art of vinyl djing and landed a regular slot at the then very popular Gallery night club in Cape Town where he played pumping Hard House, Hard Trance and Uplifting sets as a resident DJ until the club closed down in 2013 but not before he had the oportunity to share the decks with international DJs Guyver, DJ PHATT and Trevor Maclaughlin. Des has over the years been forced to adapt with the evolving DJ industry by learning to play on CDJs and computer programs like Traktor and VDJ as well as adding EDM and Electro House to his genre of music.

Been DJing since 1996. Started on soundlab DLP3s, eventually getting those holy grail 1210s! Still mix on them but now added a DDJ-1000 for digital ease of getting music. Love a bit of everything but favourite genres range from House, Old Skool Hardcore and Breaks to Jungle DnB and Techno from the Atomic Jam and Antidote days at the Que Club in Birmingham

As an Uplifting Mood Mogul, AstroBear loves the harmonic expertise that has made him a practising technical wizard. All-over of purist harmonic seances, he has a passion for nurturing harmonic skills. Extra-terrestrial bone shuddering density in out-of-this-world harmonic perfection stands out. AstroBear started his journey of DJing in 2019. He just listened to mixes of other DJs . . . until someone asked him to make a mix. He didn’t have any equipment or controller but accepted the challenge and bought a controller. He started mixing using the same 2 tracks until he was happy with the outcome. This motivated him to start mixing different tracks. At first, he had no idea of what was to come as he created his own formula, which he in turn taught other DJs who now use it successfully. Once the penny dropped for mixing tracks, there was no turning back. With the help of watching videos on YouTube, he would practice until he was pleased with the outcome. He then began to focus on being a DJ at the same time as learning the importance of learning and understanding keys and the importance of not jumbling them up. The theory of music flowed naturally by ear. From then, DJing became his obsession. His passion for Trance music, brought him to start his journey to being a DJ. He was invited to be a guest DJ on an online radio show. Once the guest mix aired, within the next week, he landed his first show on the same radio station. This was the turning point for him. He went on to have weekly shows on other stations. Unfortunately, most of them no longer exist. His passion for Trance music and its intriguing emotional flow has now become his life . . . he lives to listen to other DJ mixes and making his own. He strives to make other Trance Lovers enjoy the euphoria of upbeat emotional journeys. He has proven that age is just a number, and that you should never hold back to make your motional dreams come true. His moto is: Give it your all, to the point of perfectionism. Avoid the judgemental crowd, follow your heart and do what makes you happy. Live for your passion and what you love doing.
